Cultural Exchange Day – The Japanese School of Melbourne

On Thursday 19 July, Yr. 6D were invited to ‘The Japanese School of Melbourne’ in Caulfield, for our third cultural exchange day together. Magnificent Matsuri Day 2018

WOW! Matsuri Day 2018 was just fantastic! The activities ranged from SKPS famous chopstick race, Traditional Tea Ceremony performed by 5 Japanese ladies from Chado Urasenke Tankokai Melbourne,  Lantern making, Origami, Japanese Calligraphy,  Geisha / Oni paper plate craft, Koinobori (Carp flag) making, playing the Sumo wrestling game and making and playing Kami Tonbo (gyrocopters).
