Matsuri Day 2013

     MATSURI 2013

A huge thank you (Arigato gozaimasu –ありがとうございます) to all the parents that helped to make Matsuri Day 2013 so fantastic. The activities ranged from Tea Ceremony, Lantern making, Origami, Japanese Calligraphy, Kite making, Fan decorating, Kami Tonbo making (gyrocopters) and playing the Sumo Wrestling game. We were lucky enough to have a very special demonstration by the Melbourne University Kendo Club. Thank you to all the children, parents and staff that looked absolutely sensational in their Japanese clothes.
