Precision Drawing

While the Junior classes have been busy exploring colour our Year 5 and 6s have been extending their drawing skills. Students have been able to try out 2B, 4B and 6B pencils and explore how the different pencils affect their work.

Year 5 students have learnt about the ratios in a face before completing a self-portrait and the Year 6s have been looking at their shoes from different perspectives and drawing to scale.

It is always amazing to see how simple drawing tips can make such a difference to the final pieces of work!

Just two of the amazing shoe profiles completed by the Year 6s

Students in Year 5 got to choose how to present their self-portrait
