Grade 2 excursion to Ceres.
On Friday Year 2 went to Ceres. We got to make paper, look for bugs, go on a walk and sort rubbish.
Why? Because we have been learning about waste and the 4R’s.
What are the 4R’s? They are; reuse, reduce, recycle and rethink.
Some highlights of the excursion were going on the walk to see the litter trap over the storm water drain and papermaking.
We would recommend going to Ceres with the family because there is a lot of stuff to do and it helps your knowledge of the environment.
On behalf of the Year 2’s we would like to thank the following people for their help on the day;
Melinda (Sasha 2F), Vanessa (Hamish 2 F) , Hayley Joseph (Chloe 2C), Sally Westwood (Flynn 2C), Jane Murdoch (Ziggy 2C), Kade Paterson (Angus 2C), and Paula Andreovski (Evie 2C), Kylee (Mahli, 2A) and Faya (Gabriel, 2A), Wilhe (Billy 2RO), Prue (Eugenie 2N), Pablo (Rocco 2N), Mary and all of the Year 2 teachers.
