Maths – directions

Students in Year 5 have been learning about direction and coordinates. They are connecting this knowledge to angles by understanding how ‘amount of turn’ can be described using angles terminology. For example, go North 2 steps and then turn 90 degrees to the East. Next take 3 steps. Then rotate 180 degrees etc.

Book Week Parade
