We're LIVE from Grade 5!

End of Year Preparations

Hello Year 5 Families!!

As the year draws to a close we have been busy practising our performance for the End of Year Family Picnic…always a wonderful celebration of learning and life! A team of Year 5 choreographers worked through their lunchtimes with Ms Roy to produce a delightful performance of Michael Buble’s ‘I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas’. You will LOVE it.  Tuesday, 18th December 4pm – 5.30. Bring a picnic blanket, a basket of food and gather on the oval facing the stage (Kings Hall) and ready to be entertained by all of our merry students from Prep to Year 6.

In tying up our unit on ‘Leadership, Government and Democracy’, the Year 5s have been exploring the concepts of fairness, ethics, internal politics and corruption. It was wonderful to hear all the children sharing their thoughts, ideas and opinions then going off to research further.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our Year 5 families for their support and contribution to driving the home and school partnership that is so fundamental to the success of every child’s learning and development.

Have a very happy and safe holiday and we look forward to seeing you all in 2019!

Kind regards,

Michelle, Dayna and Eric
