St Kilda Primary School has an active and interesting Parents Club.
The Parents Club usually meets once a month for morning tea in the BASC room. They discuss a wide range of matters relating to the school, their children and local issues of interest. One recent meeting engaged in a briefing from the City of Port Phillip on a broad community consultation program that the local government was conducting. They also recently initiated a collection within the school for the benefit of Ardoch, which in itself is engaged in a number of programs and support activities within the school.
Notices of Parents Club meetings are advised in the school newsletter, and are posted on the school's Calendar. The Club provides a great way of finding out more about the school, and meeting other parents. Come along for a chat and a coffee.
