Assessment

We believe in the three forms of assessment (For, Of and As Learning) and that assessment should be primarily for learning and for supporting teachers to plan for the individual needs of the students that they work with.

We use the Response to Intervention (RTI) model to support our practice. This model enables us to clearly see what tools we may use to support students across different disciplines and give visible pathways for students who may have additional needs or require extra support at any given time.

The RTI model is a fluid model, in which students move in and out of tiers depending on their progress, and which enables educators to quickly direct resources and support individual needs.
